Having fun with alpacas is what it's all about ! IT'S A GREAT LIFE ! At the recent Southern Select Alpaca Show in Shelbyville, Tennessee, Starr Culberson (my granddaughter) and Mr. Chandler won second place award for their Sixties Hippies costume! Last year, Starr and Highlander took first for Tinkerbelle and Peter Pan. The Alpaca shows offer other classes for kids such as Showmanship, Obstacle, and Public Relations. There's some stiff competition out there, but there are a lot of kids having fun in the show ring with ALPACAS !
Around 300 alpacas from all over the USA will be competing in classes including breeder's stock, obstacle, showmanship, and costume. This is going to be a great event!
MLDA Ryan's Victory, MLDA King's Ransom, MLDA Antonio Maximilian, and MLDA Legacy's Tyson are going to show their stuff. Hope to bring home lots of ribbons with Tony, Todd, Ruby, and Starr showing our handsome boys!
