Having fun with alpacas is what it's all about ! IT'S A GREAT LIFE ! At the recent Southern Select Alpaca Show in Shelbyville, Tennessee, Starr Culberson (my granddaughter) and Mr. Chandler won second place award for their Sixties Hippies costume! Last year, Starr and Highlander took first for Tinkerbelle and Peter Pan. The Alpaca shows offer other classes for kids such as Showmanship, Obstacle, and Public Relations. There's some stiff competition out there, but there are a lot of kids having fun in the show ring with ALPACAS !
Around 300 alpacas from all over the USA will be competing in classes including breeder's stock, obstacle, showmanship, and costume. This is going to be a great event!

BLANC DE NOIR is a nice stocky female with dark silver grey fleece. She has been bred back to our Silverado son Sugarloaf's Bismarck for a fall cria in 2010. I'm thinking of a beautiful silver grey cria!
